13BEE

Bryce Millers 13BEE is currently Queensland's quickest untubbed RX3 and leaf sprung rotary.  Read more below...

Bryce Miller’s ‘13BEE’ is not only an 8 second weapon; it could easily be entered into show and shine competitions and win the top prize every time.  Every part on the car has had detailed attention paid to it and is an absolute credit to Bryce, Ken and all of the dedicated soldiers that ‘13BEE’ has working for it.  Under the bonnet resides a 13B Cosmo engine running on C16 capable of producing impressive HP at the treads.  Under the car, sit a pair of 26x9 inch tyres pushed along by a G Force gearbox which has seen the car run well into the eights.

‘13BEE’s’ first venture into the 8’s, was a few months ago, when it ran 8.96 at 149 MPH at a test and tune, running the exact same a few weeks later.  At the Nationals, ‘13BEE’ produced an 8.86 at 150MPH and recently at the Powercruise streetcar shootout, became the quickest leaf sprung rotary in Queensland running an 8.85 at 151MPH, getting off it to save his dial in! More recently, Bryce ran at the HKS Mini Jamboree in March.  Bryce again resetting his PB to an 8.82@153mph.

Recently at the 2006 Powercruise Streetcar Shootout, 13BEE ran a new PB of 8.64@153mph becoming in the process the quickest OEM chassis RX3 in the world.

But the team decided to take the car off the track to carry out rear end modifications to bring the 13BEE beast up to 28x9/Ladder Bar rear end standards.  A change of workshops was also on the cards with 13BEE set to return to the track sporting a 13B methanol package from RX Engineering.  Look for 13BEE to be back at the pointy end of Oz Mod soon...
